THE OPPORTUNITY

TalentSphere is working with an architectural practice with a firm commitment to equity and diversity & outstanding portfolio of projects including : public libraries, community and civic centers, universities, churches, heritage buildings, hospices, modern workplaces as well as mixed-use mid-rise residential projects. In addition to a flair for design, this team of architects, interior designers & technologists is involved in sustainable design; barrier-free access; gender neutral washrooms. They need an experienced Project Architect & are willing to consider a candidate from Toronto or the GTA as long they are willing to initially visit their offices on a regular basis for the first few months to get fully familiar with their team, projects, & processes.

WHAT THEY NEED

• Someone with a Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture; 8+ years of post-graduate experience; preference to fully OAA licensed architects
• Candidate strong in Revit with a track record of working with OAA architects, interns & technologists across all stages of projects : programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents & contract administration
• Someone experienced in complex buildings : renovations, new builds, LEED or heritage projects - leading and mentoring others
• Software proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign; some MS-Project
• Strong OBC and building science fundamentals; experience with site visits, project reports & presentations of design milestones
• A team player that brings out the best in others and knows how to make pitches to various stakeholders and clients
