Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, Servers are extremely knowledgeable about all food and beverage items in the restaurant. By adhering to the steps of service they answer questions, provide recommendations and create a positive guest experience. Servers maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to O&B presentation standards. Through knowledge, accuracy and efficiency our servers provide the upmost satisfaction to our guests.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of serviceBe knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendationsEnsure accuracy when entering information into the POS systemMonitor food quality and presentation standardsMonitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutterFollow all food safety standards and systemsBe aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergiesComplete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safelyOther duties as assigned or requiredQualifications
Degree / Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an assetWSET II or above, or equivalent considered an assetAt least 3 years serving experience in a similar environmentSmart Serve Certification a requirementHigh attention to detailAbility to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environmentOrganizational skills and sales abilityAbility to multi-taskStrong oral and written communication skillsHigh level of product knowledge, including wine, spirits and cocktailsAbility to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentumAdditional Information
