Civil Engineer (P. Eng)

The Opportunity

Ecora is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This role goes beyond day-to-day design work and offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through construction. You will work on a diverse range of municipal infrastructure and land development projects and act as a key link between senior leadership and junior design staff.

As an intermediate member of the team, you will be expected to manage small-to-medium projects with a high degree of independence, work closely with the Senior Civil Engineer on technical delivery, mentor junior staff, and help ensure the overall quality, coordination, and successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Engineering

Lead the design and preparation of drawings for land development and municipal infrastructure projects, including :

• Subdivision servicing (roads, water, sanitary, storm).
• Site grading and drainage plans.
• Stormwater management systems (SWM).
• Utility alignment and coordination.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to oversee and produce surface models, corridor designs, and pipe networks.
• Prepare engineering reports, design briefs, functional servicing reports, and technical specifications.
