Par t-time UX Researcher to suppor t user needs related to transitioning from on-premises data access to cloud-based (Azure) data platforms . - IS26NRI

9 months contract, Part time - % remote (BC candidates preferred)

Must Have :

Experience assessing user needs related to transitioning from on-premises data access to cloud-based (Azure) data platforms
Experience translating research findings into actionable requirements and recommendations
Experience working with user experience in PowerBI and MS Fabric environment
Experience conducting research for analytics or data-sharing platforms
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including integrating user research into iterative delivery cycles

Deliverables :

Conduct user research to understand data access, sharing, and analytics needs

Engage stakeholders to identify requirements for, and data consumption

Develop personas, user journeys, and research findings related to data journey

Provide recommendations to improve usability, adoption, and accessibility of the centralized cloud data platform

Establish design standards for visualization, create templates and best practice guidance for choosing visualizations and interactions

Create prototypes of data visualizations based off user and data requirements
