Marketing Assistant

We're seeking a Junior Marketing Assistant for our client in the Halifax area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in marketing and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

• $20-$24 per hour
• Full Time, Contract
• Weekly Pay

What You'll Do:

• Assist with creating and posting content on social media platforms
• Help update website content and service information
• Support email marketing campaigns and contact list updates
• Organize marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and service sheets
• Conduct basic research on competitors and industry trends
• Assist with preparing presentations and client proposals
• Help coordinate trade shows, client events, and networking opportunities
• Track simple marketing metrics and report results to the team
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing department

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or Communications preferred
• Internship or coursework in marketing is a plus, but not required
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn about the transportation/logistics industry
