Job Description
Information Technology Security Engineer (Cloud)Design and implement secure cloud and hybrid architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Support cloud modernization projects including DPM3, HIP, CXP, CMP, and more
Evaluate and implement cloud security tools, protocols, and controls
Conduct risk assessments, security architecture reviews, and compliance analysis
Assist in network issue resolution and advise on cloud perimeter defense
Lead security documentation and reporting, including threat analysis and mitigation planning
Deliver training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal staff
At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, platform services, and tenant operations
Active Secret Clearance (Government of Canada)
7+ years securing AWS/Azure cloud platforms and implementing security technologies (WAF, firewalls, IAM, DNS, SSO, etc.)
Experience with GC Secure Cloud-to-Ground (SC2G) connectivity
Strong documentation, compliance, and risk mitigation background
Familiarity with Government of Canada IT security standards
