Stationary Mechanic MMF Class 2 (nights)

Our client, a manufacturer of surface coatings, is seeking a Class 2 Stationary Mechanic (night shift).

• Perform operational and preventive or corrective maintenance tasks related to various thermal power plant equipment (Class 2 plan) and/or other equipment such as pumps, steam traps and level control;
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems and humidity control systems;
• Monitor the fire protection system.

Requirements:

• Certificate of qualification in Stationary Mechanics (MMF) and a DEP in Stationary Mechanics, or equivalent experience;
• Class 2 license;
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Class 2 MMF;
• Able to work alone during 12 hour shifts;
• Shift premium of $1.75/hour;
• French.

Schedule: 12 hour shifts (7p to 7a), 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
