Position Overview : The Senior Associate - Mechanical Engineer Designer will play a pivotal role in leading our mechanical engineering projects, managing staff, and driving business development initiatives. This leadership position is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to advance into a Principal role and have a stake in the company's future success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of projects, including healthcare, institutional, and public sector buildings.
- Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and contributing to proposal and bid processes.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and cohesive project delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is required.Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering design, with a focus on building systems.Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing teams and projects successfully.Strong business development skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and contribute to the company’s long-term growth and success.Why work with TalentSphere?
