Main ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of a CPA, you will be responsible for compilation engagements and will occasionally participate in review engagements.Compilation Engagements (≈95%)Prepare compilation financial statements (Notice to Reader) based on information provided by clients.Perform full bookkeeping (QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba, or other accounting software).Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and year-end adjustments.Prepare corporate (T2 / CO-17) and personal (T1) tax returns.Communicate with clients to obtain the necessary information and ensure proper follow-up on files.Review Engagements (≈5%)Participate in the planning and execution of review engagements under the supervision of a CPA.Verify certain data and perform analytical review procedures.Contribute to the preparation of working papers in accordance with professional standards.Profile SoughtCollege diploma (DEC) in Accounting and Management Techniques or equivalent education.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm (experience in compilation is essential).Strong knowledge of accounting software (Acomba, QuickBooks, Taxprep, CaseWare, etc.).Analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.Professional attitude and outstanding client service skills.
