Senior HPC Storage Engineer

Summary / Opportunity : Cerence is the global leader in supplying voice assistants and other software solutions for car manufacturers like Mercedes, Toyota, BMW, Audi, and many others. We are looking for a passionate HPC Storage Engineer to bring new products to life as we continue to innovate in the automotive market. You will join a team of world‑class experts and influence the experience of drivers and passengers, making it more enjoyable, productive and safer.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member on a software development and system administration / devops team, working with team members around the world to deliver world‑class solutions to our internal and external teams.
• Significant hands‑on experience with distributed systems and HPC environments.
• Experience with newest hardware for computation, training, storage, and networking.
• Run projects and drive feature requests and issues to closure; work independently when necessary.
• 24 / 7 on‑call as needed for emergencies and customer release windows.
