Job descriptionAnalyze the current application architecture and infrastructure. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing application and its data structures. Assess how data is ingested from multiple sources and how it is shared with various external partners. Conduct a technical review of the existing .NET MVC application. Evaluate the feasibility, benefits, and potential risks of transitioning to an API-first architecture. Provide a detailed recommendation report, including : 7+ years of experience in .NET development, with deep expertise in ASP.NET MVC and Web API. Proven track record in modernizing legacy .NET applications, including architecture assessments and migration planning. Strong knowledge of RESTful API principles, OpenAPI / Swagger, API versioning, and authentication methods. Familiarity with .NET Core / .NET 6+, microservices, clean architecture patterns, and DevOps pipelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Duration : 6–10 weeks (Possible extension)
Start date : ASAPOur public sector client is seeking an experienced .NET Application Architect / Consultant to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of an existing ASP.NET MVC-based application. The objective is to assess the technical and strategic feasibility of transitioning the system to a modern Web API architecture.The application internally plays a central role in supporting operations. Before initiating any upgrades, the client is looking to understand whether replacing or supplementing the current MVC framework with a Web API approach is warranted.Responsibilities :
