We are now looking for a Field Service Engineer, Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) to join our team working for a better future.
This is a permanent position, and candidates may be based anywhere in Canada. The role requires travel of up to 80% of the time (domestically and internationally).

As a Field Service Engineer, SLS, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable performance of Wärtsilä shaft line systems by delivering high-quality field service, technical expertise, and customer support.

For applicants that reside in BC, the hourly wage range is $ 33 CAD - $ 35 CAD, plus overtime. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity. Wartsila Canada offer a generous benefit package, including but not limited to; extended medical & dental coverage, RRSP matching (employer contribution up to 7% of salary), 4 weeks of vacation (increases based on years of service with Wartsila) and 5 paid personal days per year. Travel Requirements : This position requires a 70% travel commitment, encompassing both domestic and international, including onshore and offshore locations. The role demands adaptability to varying travel demands, with an expectation of extended periods away from the primary work location. Prospective candidates should be prepared to fulfill these travel obligations as an integral aspect of the position's responsibilities.
