We are looking for a Head of Data & Business Intelligence to join our Data & Business Intelligence team. This position reports to the Director of Software Development Unit – Internal Tools.

As Head of Data & Business Intelligence, you will drive the data vision and strategy for the entire organization. Your role will be to transform our data into a strategic asset by ensuring alignment between technological capabilities and business objectives. You will act as a key leader in evolving our culture and practices, bridging the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.

Your day-to-day

• Define the strategic vision: Develop and drive the roadmap for data architecture, technology, and warehousing
• Champion data culture: Promote the importance of data quality, standardize definitions, and implement clear processes to shift the organization toward a predictive approach
• Guide and unify teams: Lead, mentor, and ensure effective collaboration between local and remote data teams, prioritizing high-impact business initiatives
• Ensure operational excellence: Oversee the design of a reliable and high-performing data ecosystem, while directly contributing (approximately 20%) to technical initiatives to stay connected to ground-level realities

Your qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in data, business intelligence, and analytics, including team management
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business objectives into a clear technical vision and strategic roadmap
• Strong leadership experience, with a talent for mentoring, change management, and aligning multidisciplinary teams, including data science and data engineering
• Proficiency in data architecture concepts (Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, streaming, Pub/Sub) and Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Excellent technical skills, with the ability to contribute to solution design
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Fluent in French and English, spoken and written

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience managing the merger of technology stacks and teams
• Knowledge of data ecosystems and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Apache Beam, DBT, Google Cloud Dataflow, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience with the advertising data industry (SSAI, SSP, DSP)
• Ability to design business intelligence strategies tailored to different business models (e.g., subscription services, advertising)
• Knowledge of various programming and database languages (Python, Java, Rust, SQL, etc.)
