Occupational Therapist

Provide consultation and Occupational Therapy services to address the cognitive, physical, psychiatric and psychosocial needs of the mental health and addiction patients on the in-patient unit though groups or individual therapy to support their recovery and wellbeing. Provide specific standardized assessments of cognitive and functional living skills, ADLs, IADLs and mental status assessments.

Education :

• Graduate of an accredited university program of Occupational Therapy
• Master degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and membership with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Formal training in CBT / DBT / Solution focused / family Therapy / Supportive counselling would be considered an asset.
• MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment Certification
