Job descriptionCalculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Criminal record check Driver's validity licence check Driving record check (abstract) Attention to detail Physically demanding Organized Team player Hardworking Entry level Full-time
