We are currently hiring a Salesforce Developer (Hybrid) based in our Burnaby Head Office .
As a Salesforce Developer you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform.
You will have a holistic understanding of the Salesforce system, providing insight to the business users so that initiatives can be accomplished.

What you’ll do
Perform regular system updates while staying informed on Salesforce enhancements that allow BCAA to maximize its use and effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to build consensus and increase their engagement.
Develop solutions with clear and comprehensive business requirements that can be used for systems development, configuration, or integration.
Act as a subject matter expert for other IT team members.
Manage and track the status of objectives to ensure timing deadlines and divisional needs are met.
Analyze business processes, generate reports, and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions, while ensuring adherence to change control and testing standards.
Communicate requirements effectively with development and IT teams to support system enhancements and configurations.
Work closely with external vendors to ensure BCAA’s system related needs are met, and that changes are delivered and tested on time.
What you'll bring
Degree or Diploma in the field of Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
Minimum of three years’ experience in Salesforce Platform administration / development or a related field.
Experience working with Salesforce CRM and other Salesforce platform apps.
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling / mapping, and creating clear, concise requirements specifications in technical & user-friendly terminology.
Prior experience in formal software testing approaches and troubleshooting methodologies.
Bonus skills and experience!
Possession of a Salesforce certification is an asset.
The salary range for this position is $94,091.52 to $117,614.40 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity.
In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
