Maintenance Technician

Plasman - Windsor Tooling is currently seeking a new member to join our team as a Maintenance Technician.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all activities pertaining to the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery to reduce downtime at Windsor Tooling

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Pneumatic, hydraulic and general repair maintenance.
• Knowledge in PLC systems, Encoders, Servo motors & drives, 3-phase power systems, reading of Electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhein, Siemens, Fidia, Indramat controllers.
• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain operational equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturer’s specifications.
• Assist other Maintenance personnel when required.
• Maintain the building by repairing as required.
• Maintain SharePoint or equivalent repair log.
• Perform fabricating tasks, when necessary, with Mig/Tig welding knowledge.
• Adding & balancing of coolant solvents & oils as required.
• Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Completion of any other duties as assigned.
• Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Ticketed in a provincial recognized Industrial Maintenance designation preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Must have at least 5 years of Machine Maintenance experience.
