Job description

Are you a mechanically inclined talent? Do you live in Fort McMurray or the surrounding area? Are you looking for a full-time position in a shop environment? This could be the opportunity you are looking for!

I am looking to speak with energetic, and dedicated candidates for a full-time Precision Assembly Technician in Fort McMurray now. This role would begin as a temporary contract with the intent of becoming a permanent position quickly, based on performance. This role would provide you an opportunity with a very well established oil field support organization, who are looking to mechanically adept technicians, willing to learn and become a vital teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly and disassembly of vital oilfield equipment
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving operations
  • Crane and forklift operation if qualified
  • Participate in overall shop operations and housekeeping
  • Qualifications

  • Prior experience with precision tools such as micrometers is ideal
  • Overhead Crane and Forklift certifications a large benefit
  • Highly comfortable working with your hands
  • High attention to detail
