Freelance Payroll Consultant

AIP Connect is partnering with a large consulting firm as they proactively look to build talent into the future across the Canadian market.

The Payroll Consultant may be responsible for, but is not limited to:

• Experience with updated and new provincial and federal taxation regulations.
• Ability to run payroll end-to-end, weekly and/or bi-weekly.
• Actively contribute to training new payroll managers, payroll administrative assistants, and HR resources (new or existing).
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
• Please include any certifications, industry knowledge, experience, and technologies/modules you have worked with.

Compensation: $28 - $70 an hour
