Our client is a Canadian consumer products organization and is the 4th largest across North American in its’ category. The organization has manufacturing facilities across Canada and the US supplying branded and private label products to an impressive customer group across top food and mass retailer and foodservice accounts.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Human Resources Officer will lead the HR function and provide strategic vision, tactical leadership direction and management for Human Resources to drive high performance, accountability and employee engagement across the business.

They are accountable for developing a culture that the organization will need to succeed in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving industry and to allow the company to scale as the business drives towards future growth.

The new CHRO will be a strategic advisor to the CEO and provide optimal balance of strategic capabilities and hands on leadership to help lead change and partner effectively with the business and the Board to enable the Company to achieve its strategic mandate.

Our ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in an HR Leadership capacity, gained in the food and beverage industry.

The CHRO will be a business partner first, implementing, leading and managing all key strategic HR initiatives across a growing North American business.

It is highly preferable if the CHRO has led an HR team in an organization of comparable complexity and scale with US operations.
