AIRCRAFT ASSET MANAGER (M2 / E LICENSE REQUIRED)

A global aviation leader is seeking an Aircraft Asset Manager to take full ownership of their fleet assets, combining technical maintenance insight with financial and contractual oversight.This is a critical role for someone who can navigate the complex intersection of aircraft maintenance, regulatory compliance, and high-value lease agreements. The successful candidate will oversee the technical and financial aspects of maintenance projects while ensuring all work scopes, documentation, and aircraft transitions fully meet regulatory and lease requirements.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Technical Oversight
- Provide technical and financial supervision of maintenance projects at both internal and external MRO facilities.
- Approve and validate work scopes for component overhaul or exchange.
- Ensure maintenance projects meet all regulatory, lease, and quality standards .
Aircraft Lease & Transition Support
Support aircraft lease returns, deliveries, and transitions, including audits and reserve claims.Offer technical guidance on leasing, purchasing, and aircraft sales decisions.Evaluate and approve maintenance work eligible for maintenance reserve claims .Customer & Regulatory Liaison
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on leased aircraft.Conduct on-site technical audits at lessee facilities.Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with airworthiness and maintenance documentation standards .Financial & Operational Input
Provide cost estimates and oversight for lease return and delivery scopes of work.Partner with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth aircraft transitions.Professional Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
Valid AME M2 or E Licence (must-have), with proven experience on Dash 8 (all variants), CRJ (all variants), or 737 (Classic / Next Generation) aircraft.Minimum 5+ years in a senior or lead maintenance capacity .Previous experience in an aviation maintenance management role .Strong understanding of aircraft acquisition, import / export regulations, and lease compliance requirements .Demonstrated expertise in aircraft maintenance record-keeping and regulatory documentation .Preferred / Assets
Experience using maintenance tracking software such as CAMP or Traxxall.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Comfort working in a fast-paced, international, and multi-cultural environment .Willingness to travel as required for audits, transitions, or inspections.Skills & Competencies
