Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny For Homeschool Family In Uptown Waterloo

Join us as a part-time nanny for our homeschooling family in uptown Waterloo!

Logistics :

• 3x 4 hour shifts, consistent schedule every week. Preference for Monday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, and Thursday afternoons, but flexible for the right person.
• Occasional weekend date nights
• $25 / h

Our boys are 4 and 7. They are insatiably curious and never stop moving. A typical shift will involve dividing and conquering with mom to stay on top of school work, reading a million books, going to the park or uptown library, sensory play, and supporting the boys in bringing their crazy project ideas to life. The vibe is managed chaos, not crafts and quiet play.

The ideal candidate is an upper year undergraduate student at Laurier or Waterloo, in dev psych / similar program, with experience in children's camps / programming and an interest in working with exceptionalities (our kids are 2e).

Bonus if you're hoping to become a teacher or otherwise work with kids in a developmental setting. I have an MEd and have written grad school & teachers college recommendation letters for nannies in the past.
