A part-time lab assistant is sought to maintain the autonomous vehicle lab located in EV0S2.. The lab has been funded by the CFI project entitled “Toward Intelligent and Resilient Smart Cities with Energy-Vehicle-Human Interactions”, and led by Dr. Chadi Assi.
The lab is equipped with Quanser Qdrone, Quanser Qcar, Quanser Qbot, a network of Vicon Vero cameras, different Quanser Qlab software representing digital twins of the Qcar and Qbot vehicles, workstations, Ethernet switch, and a Wifi router.
The part-time lab assistant must maintain and upgrade the infrastructure to ensure that all equipment is working, up-to-date, and properly used by the researchers.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
Must be a current registered Master’s student is a Concordia degree program, at minimum
Familiarity with Quanser and Vicon software
Previous experience with mobile robots Principle investigator and supervisor

22.14 / hour for approximately hours.
