Role

Role: Responsible for the smooth running of the warehouses. Ensures the organization and control of tools and materials for tooling. Using computerized data, the incumbent manages the entry/exit of tools while ensuring that the calibration is in order. In addition, may be required to perform the duties of the Production Helper and General Assistant position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00PM

Level of Responsibility: Well established work processes and duties. Some analysis is required before independently selecting from known processes.

Responsibility/Duties

• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of warehouses.
• Validate goods received or in transit and update the database.
• Inspect and clean transportation containers.
• Prepare toolboxes according to production needs.
• Prepare tools for calibration.
• Validate tooling orders taking into account inventory.
• Use appropriate transport equipment (engineering, forklift, overhead crane, etc.).
• All other related tasks.

Minimum qualifications required

• Secondary school vocational diploma, high school diploma or the equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Valid credentials
• Basic knowledge of English is an asset (Contact with customers outside Quebec and head office staff in Ontario).

Comments/Special Considerations

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
