The Lester B. Pearson School Board's Annual Teacher Recruitment session will take place on MARCH 25th 2026.

We are one of the largest English-language school boards in Quebec serving over 25,000 students in the youth, adult education and vocational training sectors. Our territory stretches from Verdun in the east, to the Ontario border in the west. This vast network includes 36 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, 2 adult education centers and 6 vocational training centers.

Description

We are currently accepting applications from qualified candidates with a Quebec Brevet or a valid teaching permit; as well as those who hold a valid teaching license from another province; and student teachers that will be graduating in 2026 from a recognized degree program in education.

Deadline for applications is March 09th 2026.

Salary

Salary scale for casual supply teachers (+4% vac.):

• $52.79 : (for non-legally qualified teachers)
• $61.60 : (for legally qualified teachers)

Salary classification For Teachers On a Contract:$52,799 - $102,857 based on experience and educational qualifications.

• Legally qualified teachers are those who hold a valid Brevet or teaching permit in Quebec.

Successful candidates can work as substitute teachers right away AND be considered for contracts for the 2026-2027 academic year.
