Labor Crating

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble shipping crates and skids for our products that will assure contents are secure for exporting via air / sea /truck .

Reading travelers /orders to identify products / materials to crate / package .

Operate radial arm saws . pneumatic nail and staple guns . other power tools and read a measuring tape .

Packaging products safely and secured

Build / frame skids and crates to accommodate products for shipping

Shrink wrap products once crated.

Qualifications Required

Experience packaging , material handling , receiving, and framing .

Previous experience working safely with hand tools such as drills , saws , etc

Forklift training is an asset .

Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality and safety .

Ability to work at a very fast pace with the ability to prioritize and multi-task .

Ability to organize and keep work clean and tidy

Ability to read orders and prepare finished product to be crated , shrink wrapped and staged .

Must be able to lift to 50lbs .

Team oriented with the ability to work well with others safely .
