TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Material Management Director role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities :

• Develop sourcing strategies and create bidders lists.
• Plan and manage logistics to ensure cost-efficient transportation.
• Coordinate and integrate all material management activities smoothly.
• Ensure the material management plan effectively supports the construction schedule.
• Collaborate with teams to define material specifications and needs.
• Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Implement and oversee material management processes to meet project deadlines.
• Work with discipline leads to create and approve comprehensive material management plans.
• Maintain and organize documentation and tracking systems for material management.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 24 years of experience in Project Material Management or Procurement Management for large projects.
• Skilled in effectively communicating with diverse groups, including management, clients, and contractors.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly skilled in computer literacy.
• Effective decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in the mining industry.
