Responsibilities

• Ability to readand interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and layout ofwork
• Ability to readand understand the imperial system of measurement
• Determine theappropriate welding equipment, set up and technique based on build specifications
• Align componentsusing Straightedge, Combination square, etc. and clamp pieces
• Tact welds orwelds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other weldingequipment
• Maintain equipmentin a condition that does not compromise safety
