Job Title : Quality Control Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Administrator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our documentation and inventory management processes. This position involves data entry, paperwork generation, and working closely with our inspectors and HSE manager to produce and review necessary documents.

Responsibilities

• Enter data and generate paperwork accurately, utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with inspectors and HSE manager to prepare documents for customer submission.
• Inspect incoming paint shipments and generate detailed reports.
• Assist in creating tracking lists for operations and shipping purposes.
• Interpret drawings to provide support (training provided).
• Identify masking areas on items to be painted and locate steel with missing ID numbers.
• Track equipment and inventory effectively.
• Support HSE and operations managers in managing safety equipment, including recertification processes.
• Assist shop managers in conducting safety inspections, such as fire extinguisher and first aid kit checks.
• Seek additional tasks and support other divisions as needed, including housekeeping and assisting painters.
• Interact effectively with both office staff and workers, adhering to core values.

Must have a willingness to seek additional work and help other divisions when primary role is caught up.

Work Environment

Located in the Surrey shop, you will have your own office space. This hybrid role involves both office and shop work. The standard workweek is Monday to Friday, with 8-10 hours per day depending on workload. While most tasks can be completed within a 40-hour workweek, some overtime may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surrey, BC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
