Position Description
The Marketing Coordinator will play an integral role in driving the success of marketing initiatives, product launches, and customer engagement efforts for a leading flooring distributor. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position offers a dynamic blend of creativity, strategic execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities will range from developing visually engaging marketing materials, managing social media and online presence, coordinating events, and ensuring brand consistency across all communications. The successful candidate will help tell compelling stories about innovative products and drive impactful marketing campaigns that support sales growth and enhance market positioning.
Key tasks include :
- Creating high-quality marketing assets such as brochures, lookbooks, flyers, digital content, and compelling room-scene photography.
- Overseeing and supporting product launches, from initial planning through execution and follow-up.
- Managing social media channels and digital content to maximize brand visibility.
- Coordinating event logistics for webinars, trade shows, symposiums, and other promotional events.
- Supporting sales teams with timely, accurate, and strategic marketing materials.
- Conducting regular community engagement analysis to refine and optimize marketing strategies.
Experience
Demonstrated experience in marketing, community management, and graphic design, ideally within distribution, retail, flooring, or related industries.Proven ability in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, including coordinating successful product launches and campaigns.Solid experience in developing and curating engaging content across digital platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.Experience collaborating closely with sales teams, suppliers, and internal departments to deliver targeted marketing support and exceptional service.Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative tasks with detailed execution and analytical assessment.Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and editing for various marketing materials.Ability to manage social media accounts and familiarity with digital marketing analytics to drive insights and improvements.Creative thinker capable of translating product innovation into engaging stories and market-ready communications.Autonomous, proactive, and driven personality with the ability to take initiative, suggest improvements, and champion new ideas.Knowledge or exposure to the flooring, building materials, or related industries is an asset but not required.Education
