Position Description
In this crucially important role, you are the head of Human Resources for Canada , playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture, developing their workforce, and ensuring the organization’s HR strategies align with their overall business objectives.
You contribute insights to the Senior Management Team regarding the overall company strategy, particularly from the perspective of human resources. This contribution will be grounded in your deep understanding of their business operations, organizational culture, and employee demographics, as well as your awareness of current trends in human resources best practices and the broader labor market, including legal, social, demographic, and macroeconomic aspects.
Reporting directly to the CEO , you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compensation and benefits. Furthermore, your experience and expertise will be deeply valued as it pertains to the ongoing development, improvement, updating, and upkeep of all human resource functions, as they align with the company’s strategy, mission, values, goals, and objectives.
This position demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in HR leadership, capable of driving HR initiatives that support the organization’s growth and enhance employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, deep knowledge of Canadian labour laws, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
