Registered Veterinary Technician with the Ontario Association of Veterinary TechniciansPassion for what you do every day! Under the supervision of the Surgeons and Anesthesiologists the duties and responsibilities of the Registered Veterinary Technician includes, but are not limited to, the following :
Performs evaluation of the patient’s condition by evaluation of the animal, reviewing patient history and diagnostic resultsMonitoring of animals in the recovery period post anesthesiaPatient care- providing gold standard patient care post operatively and ensuring pain management is adequateBandage and wound care under the direction of supervising surgeonsAssist during patient examinations and surgical proceduresDiagnostic imaging-Performing CT scans and radiographsPatient discharges and medication / physiotherapy demonstrations with ownersIf you’re an RVT ready to embrace an environment where possibilities thrive, come contribute to our legacy of excellence and redefine what’s achievable in animal care.
