Position : PYP and MYP Homeroom Teachers Start Date : August 2025 About Us : Tall Pines School is a well-established private school located in Brampton, ON. Our programs run from 18 months to Grade 10. Tall Pines School is an IB PYP and MYP authorized school. Our mission is to develop critical thinkers today that thrive in the uncertainty of tomorrow. The Opportunity : Our PYP and MYP program will be expanding for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. We are seeking innovative and motivated classroom teachers to work in our PYP and MYP programs on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following : Deliver the core program requirements for the assigned grade levels and subjects through an inquiry-based approach that aligns with the philosophy and framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary PYP or MYP, as well as requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education Monitor and nurture students' academic, social, and emotional growth Providing students an educational experience designed to inspire and challenge students to discover the best of who they are and to achieve their full potential Participating actively in faculty and department meetings to plan, review and update the written curriculum Establishing good relationships with teachers, staff and parents across the school community Assess and report on student learning and approaches to learning Attend and participate in school functions and special events. Qualifications, experience, and skills : University degree Possession of Ontario College of Teachers Certification International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and / or Middle Years Programme (MYP) training / experience is an asset Three years of classroom experience is an asset Ability to work both independently as well as be a collaborative team member Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check Current First Aid and CPR training Compensation : Tall Pines School offers a competitive salary and benefits.
