Job Title : Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic fabrication team as a Press Brake Operator, where you have to cut, bend, and shape materials according to precise specifications. We seek a motivated individual with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Shift is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3 : 30pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake and shear machines to cut, bend, and shape the components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings or fabrication blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Perform routine machine checks and maintenance.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all workplace safety procedures.
• Frequently lift and handle metal sheets up to 50 lbs.
• Engage in frequent standing, bending, and crouching to handle materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
