Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and service calls
• Perform interior and exterior property checks
• Lock and unlock buildings and gates
• Identify and report security, safety, and maintenance issues
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports
• Communicate with dispatch, clients, and emergency services
• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally
• Follow site post orders and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the security industry
• Valid BC Security Licence
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, including overnight shifts
• Physically capable of patrol duties (walking, stairs, driving)
• Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)

Grade 12 or GED equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid BC Security Licence
