Cloud Engineer

Robert Half is partnering with a leading technology-driven organization to recruit an accomplished Cloud Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your deep cloud expertise in a dynamic environment, working on next-generation infrastructure and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Oversee data storage, networking, and cybersecurity within cloud ecosystems.
• Implement and optimize containerized applications utilizing orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Establish and enforce robust security controls, maintain compliance with industry standards, and manage risk throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage and support database operations using AWS / Azure managed database services.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI / CD pipelines with platforms including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Advance monitoring, alerting, and observability using enterprise tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Datadog.
• Automate manual processes with advanced scripting in Python and Bash.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or a comparable blend of education and professional experience.
• At least six years of experience in CloudOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or DevSecOps roles.
• Expert-level background in both AWS and Azure environments, including core services, cloud-native technologies, and security principles.
• Advanced skills in container management and orchestration—specifically Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and virtualization within AWS and Azure.
• Thorough grasp of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Experience with AWS / Azure database management and database operations.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Demonstrated scripting and automation capabilities in Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability software such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Datadog.
