Role : Technical Writer - Senior
Location : 777 Bay St, Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 months with possible extension
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical Skills 60%
- Strong knowledge and experience with documentation tasks for Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure design, familiar with networking, firewall, storage, backup and disaster recovery design.
- Strong knowledge and experience with documentation tasks for large scale Java EE application design concepts such as security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Experience in the creation and editing of technical project documents including architecture artefacts based on existing systems or design concepts from senior team members.
- Experience with a wide range of technical writing methods, tools and techniques and knowledge of industry and government standards and best practices.
- Experience and ability to create a glossary or list of terms and definitions Experience with office automation suites, presentation tools, and at least one authoring package.
- Skilled at using standard technical writing tools such as Power Designer, Microsoft Visio, UML and / or Adobe Technical Communication Suite
- Experienced in creating content and graphics that effectively communicate conceptual, procedural, and reference information for end-user administration, installation and configuration guides and online help.
- Knowledge and experience with preparing conceptual, logical and / or physical processes documents.
- Ability to validate technical documentation and confirm documentation aligns with product functionality.
