• Your Role
• Participate in geotechnical design on various projects;
• Contribute to administrative project management;
• Assist in preparing proposals for professional services;
• Perform geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlements, slope stability, soil liquefaction, etc.);
• Carry out numerical modelling studies for major projects;
• Participate in drafting technical reports;
• Collaborate with other departments and services.##
• About You
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, geological, or mining engineering;
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering is an asset;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience;
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering (buildings, foundations, slope stability analysis, linear infrastructure, soil liquefaction);
• Possess a valid ASP Construction card;
• Hold a valid driver’s licence;
• Excellent spoken and written French;
• Strong judgment and analytical skills;
• Good knowledge of commonly used geotechnical software;
• Ability to work as part of a team in complex and changing environments.##
