Engineer and Project Leader, Automation (Relocation to Sept-Îles)

Join BBA Consultants as an Engineer and Project Leader, Automation in Sept-Îles. This role involves developing project and client relationships in the energy and mining sectors, working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal, and Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will participate in engineering mandates related to automation, instrumentation, and control systems, contribute to various project phases, and assist in proposal preparations and technological solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and deliverables (P&IDs, drawings, control schemes)
• Draft reports, specifications, and tender documents
• Select control instruments and prepare datasheets
• Provide technical support during construction and inspections
• Program PLCs, DCSs, and operator interfaces
• Engage with clients, support business development, and participate in proposals
