INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT FORWARDER

THE OPPORTUNITY

BBE International is a leading logistics provider offering end-to-end transportation, warehousing, and customs broker solutions across North America and around the world. Our team is dedicated to providingseamless international freight forwarding services with a strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and exceptional customer care.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced International Freight Forwarder to join our team. While Edmonton is the preferred location, BBE is open to qualified candidates across Canada who will work within the Mountain time zone hours. In this role, you will coordinate international shipments by air, ocean, and ground while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and our in-house customs brokerage team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage international freight movements (import / export) via air, ocean, and ground.
• Prepare process shipping documentation, including bill of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
• Liaise with carriers, overseas agents, and customers to track and trace shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the customs brokerage team to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods.
• Provide rate quotations and logistics solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records in all systems.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively communicate updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, Incoterms, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
