Key Responsibilities
- Conducting cannabinoid testing experiments ( stability and formulation experiments) to support innovative cannabis product development,
- Plan, perform, and interpret results of experiments and projects, ensuring data quality and complete technical reports and presentations are delivered to agreed timelines;
- Communicate scientific information effectively through clear oral and written presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Apply scientific problem-solving skills and leverage available literature / resources to proactively implement technical solutions and adopt industry best practices;
- Accurately document all data generated from laboratory work performed, including creation and documentation of study and experimental protocols, development of experimental procedures, and records of deviations and corrective actions;
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's OR PHD in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences);Practical experience in an R&D environment, preferably within industry and ideally within the cannabis sector or other API, supporting diverse scientific programmes in a complex, matrixed organization;Experience with formulation development and / or stability studies. Experience with cannabinoids is desiredPractical knowledge of human efficacy testing is desirable;Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data with the ability to summarize findings in scientific reports and provide well-supported conclusions and recommendations;Reach out to Paul Melanson at MacDonald Search Group at
