Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician Level I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional with hands-on experience in setting up, repairing, and troubleshooting phones and tablets. This role involves providing high-quality technical support to our clients, both remotely and on-site, thus requiring a valid class 5 driving license.

Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and update software and hardware for mobile devices, including phones and tablets.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile devices, ensuring minimal downtime.

Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person, offering clear and effective solutions.

Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform system updates to ensure the smooth functioning of mobile devices.

Educate clients on basic device management and security practices.

Manage inventory of devices and parts, including ordering and tracking supplies as needed.

Document technical manuals, guidelines, and IT requests / issues.

Travel to client sites as required to provide hands-on support, necessitating a valid class 5 driving license.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role with a focus on mobile devices (phones and tablets).

Strong understanding of Android and iOS operating systems and their troubleshooting procedures.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

Valid class 5 driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements :

Must be able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.

Flexibility to work outside of traditional office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
