GHD is looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner for our Key, Strategic, and Critical Talent Acquisition team to work out of our Vancouver, BC office . You will be responsible for mainly GHD’s Western Canada region. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, and securing outstanding talent to join the GHD family. You'll be a GHD ambassador and strategic partner to the business by developing attraction strategies and championing organic growth initiatives while building and maintaining strong working relationships with hiring managers and leadership.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :
- Partner with management teams to develop, maintain and implement short term and long-term talent sourcing strategies for requisitions
- Plan and implement consistent, efficient and scalable recruitment processes that deliver top talent from active and passive candidate markets with a high-quality candidate experience
- Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the recruiting process and share talent pool insights using data to lead expectations and align attraction strategy
- Perform detailed pre-screen interviews to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon position requirements and competencies
- Initiate and present recruiting updates at bi-weekly team meetings
- Work in partnership with the regional Talent Acquisition Business Partner
- Work with People Business Partners in designated regions to build an annual recruiting plan based on business plans, labor projections, project delivery plans, etc.
- Strategic recruitment planning and delivery, collaborate with People Business Partners and assigned regional hiring managers to develop a list of critical qualifications needed for their business line and develop a pipeline of future candidates that meet those criteria
- Develop an understanding of key business drivers and provide internal clients with ways to address workforce needs to support those drivers
- Determine creative and effective methods to help attract top talent; be seen as a recruitment specialist
- Champion Inclusion and Diversity initiatives to provide a diverse slate of candidates for open positions
For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications :
Minimum 15 years of recruiting experience in an engineering professional services firm with a focus on civil infrastructure projects, and environmental services in the Western Canada marketDemonstrated strategic recruitment experience including sourcing and developing talent pipelines with a non-traditional recruitment focusAdvanced experience using and maintaining an electronic based applicant tracking system, Oracle Cloud Recruiter experience considered a plusExtensive experience working with LinkedIn RecruiterExperience coordinating strategic recruitment campaignsExceptional client focus, with the ability to provide excellent service to hiring managers for a variety of technical orientated rolesProven confidence in decision making with the ability to think strategically and creatively to meet objectivesExceptional ability to influence and establish strong, lasting relationshipsSuperior dedication to ongoing candidate care for external and internal applicantsCommitment to principles and practices related to confidentiality and sensitivityBiligual in French will be considered an assetSalary : $85,350 to $115,000
