Job descriptionAbrasive blast pots, including dead-man systems, hoses, etc. Air compressors Breathing air systems and blast hood use Blast standards including profile and type of blast required Blast inspection and associated equipment Safety with all of the above How to meet coating applications to desired film thickness Application guidelines and data sheets provided by manufacturers Multiple paint systems Safety with all of the above Successful completion of Boon’s pre-employment process, including drivers abstract, criminal check, drug & alcohol test and physical demands analysis Meet bonafide occupational requirements of the job Great attitude with willingness to engage and commit to safety Available to work shift work Previous blasting and coating experience Previous oilfield experience is an asset H2S Alive, Standard First Aid and CSO are minimum safety ticket requirements. Fall Protection and Confined Space are an asset. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with hot and cold environments Able to wear a full-face respirator and media blasting hood for extended periods Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervision Applicant must live in Bonnyville or surrounding community NACE certification is an asset

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible to perform duties involving all aspects of the preparation and spray application of industrial coatings to a high standard of workmanship using a variety of tools and materials.
