Union position with APSSP The Speech Language Pathologist will respond to the needs of school personnel, students and families through specialized therapeutic, consultative, educational, and collaborative services in the area of communication disorders and their relationship to academic performance. Qualifications : Graduate degree in Communicative Disorders or Speech Language Pathology Eligible for registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) Effective interpersonal and organizational skills Experience working with the school age population Well developed oral and written communication skills Auditory Verbal Therapy (an asset) Advanced Literacy Course (an asset) Hanen certification (an asset) Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to schools within the Board We thank you for your interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
