Your new role

The Project Communication Specialist is responsible for the execution of the project communications plan. This role will design, develop, and execute stakeholder communications for an enterprise-wide business transformation project.

The Communication Specialist will help identify appropriate and effective modes and methods of communication, build necessary content, and assist in the delivery of content as required.

They will contribute to the development of the project communication plan and stakeholder management plans.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute the communications plan for a large business transformation project.
  • Design and develop communications materials for the project team and stakeholders.
  • Work in tandem with the project Organizational Change Management resources.
  • Provide innovative approaches to communicating effectively to a large and diverse stakeholder base, from front line staff to executive level employees.
  • Able to manage multiple, competing priorities on a fast-paced and timeline driven project.
  • Anticipate project needs and acts to address those needs without direction.
  • Develop branded presentations and documents to effectively communicate project information.
  • Develop and maintain project SharePoint site and internal team SharePoint site.
  • Build communications toolkits for identified stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate with project learning specialist to brand and design learning content.
  • Support project team with regular stakeholder communication tasks (emails, meetings, townhalls, etc.).
  • Produce project reports and updates for different stakeholder groups.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Degree or Diploma in a related field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, etc.)
  • 5 years internal corporate communications experience
  • Organizational change management certification / courses (e.g., Prosci)
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint, and Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with Articulate 360 suite is preferred
