The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) welcomes applications for the position of : On-Call Elementary Teachers Only candidates who are fully qualified to teach primary or intermediate grades will be considered The Board's general requirement is that TTOC's be available for call-out on 50% of the instructional days in any month. Qualifications Completion of a Bachelor of Education Recent contract teaching experience and / or student teaching experience is required Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Certification Branch (TCB) Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) Your application must include the following documents : Cover Letter Resume (Teaching and Non-Teaching Work Experience) Academic Transcripts Reports / Evaluations ( lesson observations / mid-term reports not accepted) : Recent Graduates-include Final Practicum Reports Experienced Teachers-include Teaching Evaluation within the past 8 years At least 3 Professional References -email and phone numbers Recent Graduates : 1.
