Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures
• Support the coordination of safety training, orientations, and audits
• Conduct regular inspections and assist in incident investigations
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation in compliance with legislative requirements
• Collaborate with supervisors and employees to promote a proactive safety culture
• Assist with WSIB claims, modified work programs, and return‑to‑work processes

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (co‑op or internship experience welcome)
• Knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation (OHSA and related regulations)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have own vehicle and clean driving record for occasional site visits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for workplace safety
