Senior Manager, Government Relations & Public Affairs Our client, a leading multinational healthcare company, is in search of a Senior Manager, Government Relations to join their team. This role will focus on fostering relationships and navigating regulatory landscapes in Canada. Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop strategic outreach plans for provincial governments in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, analyzing legislative public policy issues affecting the company.
  • Assist in drafting position papers, policy briefings, presentations, and legislative testimony.
  • Collaborate with government and industry partners to advocate corporate positions effectively.
  • Customize market access strategies with a focus on provincial coverage and coding intricacies.
  • Provide leadership with market trend analyses and updates on reimbursement changes across Quebec.
  • Engage with regional health authorities, government officials, and patient organizations to influence medical device access policies.
  • Serve as the primary resource on Quebec-specific healthcare policies for commercial teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align commercial strategies with healthcare policies.
  • Develop legislative and regulatory strategies aligned with company priorities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key policymakers and industry stakeholders in Quebec.
  • Prepare concise reports on the political, social, and economic environment relevant to the company's operations.
  • Collaborate with product managers to devise and implement market access strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quebec healthcare and political landscape.
  • Fluency in French and English required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
