We are currently seeking a US Tax Professional for one year. This person will be responsible for the preparation of personal income tax returns.

This position mainly entails working with senior members of the US tax practice and partners in a variety of client mandates. Our U.S. and Canadian Tax teams consists of senior level professionals with extensive experience in Canada-U.S. and international cross border tax planning and compliance, U.S. federal domestic, state and local taxes. We specialize in assisting Canadian based clients with their expansion into the U.S. We provide a full range of tax services, from consulting on the tax issues to the preparation of the U.S. federal, state and local tax returns for privately-held corporations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual (French and English);
• 3-5 years’ work experience in similar position;
• Strong planning and organizational skills;
• Very comfortable interpreting and applying tax legislations;
• Very comfortable with tax research methods and databases;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook);
• Excellent written and verbal skills;
• Comfortable with financial data;
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
